Allison Carlson

Allison is the Executive Director of the Wisconsin Local Government Climate Coalition (WLGCC), a statewide organization that supports members as they collaborate on breaking down the barriers to decarbonization. She has worked in the energy and sustainability industry for over 16 years, serving in various roles with Focus on Energy, the Public Service Commission, and in consulting and evaluation for Opinion Dynamics and ILLUME Advising.

At ILLUME, she worked with states and utilities that are seeking to meet ambitious climate and energy goals by supporting them in identifying strategies and equitable approaches. With Focus on Energy, she led the strategic planning process to set and implement goals and metrics. She also directed the launch of Focus Forward, an innovation initiative to efficiently and effectively integrate new technologies and designs into the larger Focus portfolio.
