Bill Deters

Born and raised in central Pennsylvania, William (Bill) Deters has been involved in residential and light commercial construction since 1988. Some of his roles have included manager of design and estimating departments, producing energy modeling and code compliance documents for builders nationwide, HERS ratings, vast experience with energy modeling software (REM/Rate, Ekotrope, Rescheck and Energy Gauge), utility rebate submittals, building code and quality assurance inspections, and residential HVAC design.

Bill has certifications in ICC Residential Building, Residential Energy Inspector / Plans Examiner, Commercial Energy Plans Examiner, Residential Mechanical, Residential Plumbing inspector, Fire Inspector I, RESNET HERS rater, and he is working towards completing the RESNET QAD certification. He graduated from Williamsport Area Community College with an associate degree in Architectural Technology in 1988.
