Pete Lange

Pete Lange is Director of Training and Customer Experience for Tim O’Brien Homes LLC, Milwaukee. Pete earned his Bachelor of Science in General Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1990, and began his career in homebuilding with Pulte Home Corp. in the Chicago market that year as a Customer Service Manager, later becoming a Construction Superintendent, joining Pulte’s Wisconsin expansion in 1995, serving until Pulte’s exit from Wisconsin in 1998. Pete remained in the Milwaukee/Waukesha area and served builders including Crosswinds Communities, Kingsway/Kettle Creek Homes, William Ryan Homes, and Brookstone Homes in various roles, ranging from Production Manager to Vice President of Sales.
As the Great Recession dawned in 2008-2009, Pete followed his lifelong passion for teaching and music, teaching Band, Choir, Music Theory, Music History, and Introduction to Business, at Waukesha’s Catholic Memorial High School from 2009 -2017. In 2013, Pete received his Bachelor of Music Education from Carroll University, where he has also served as an adjunct lecturer in the Music Department. In 2013 Pete was the inaugural recipient of the Carroll Education Department’s “Promising Pioneer” award for demonstrated potential to make a significant impact in the field of Education. Also in 2013, Pete was one of 100 teachers in the State of Wisconsin who received a Fellowship from the Herb Kohl Education Foundation, for his skill as a leader and agent of positive change, and his superior ability to inspire love of learning. In 2016, Pete brought his passion and skill back to homebuilding, joining Tim O’Brien Homes as a New Home Sales Professional, and has since served as Production Manager, Sales Manager, and Customer Care Manager, prior to his current role leading Team Learning and Development.
